Seaming is a critical element in artificial turf especially with larger putting greens. Kyle Hentschel with K.H. flooring brings 15 years of quality experience to my team.

Material

Material comes in a range of qualities from low-grade to high grade.    The lower quality artificial material is typically made poorly, reflects sunlight like plastic  and contains less ounce weight then higher grades.   Meaning, It doesn't look natural and is not worth consideration for any reason.  Be aware of the  many landscapers and inexperienced installers out there pushing bad material.  Much of it is made in China and will deteriorate quickly.   Proper instillation will dramatically effect Material life span as well.   Its nice to save up front as turf is a significant investment  but if you need to replace in 3 to 5 years your losing your savings.

This brings us to the medium and higher quality materials.  Price ranges from  roughly $2 a sq. ft. for medium grade  and up to the mid $3 for highest grade. The number of manufactures, wholesale distributors and retail outlets from which to get material is too numerous to keep track of.  I have worked with 5 different wholesalers over the last ten years and their products are pretty consistent with one another.   These manufactures supply to all your local retail store's. (Retail equals additional cost to you.) Warranties  are offered up to 15 years on all products  with most manufactures being at 8 years for standard wear.  Many of the larger companies manufacture and sell their own material exclusively. They each claim to have the best available and don't have much nice to say about each other.  I am like a mortgage broker shopping all the banks for your best direction rather then walking into one bank.  I will  show  you samples from the companies I feel have the best product in terms of quality, warranty and value.  The one variable is esthetic and there are many to choose from.  My only allegiance  is to you the client and the project were working on.
